iStream Lab Guidelines: A Resource for Building and Managing Immersive Journalism Labs

The iStream project, in which the Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM) participates as a partner, has published the Lab Guidelines. This practical resource is for higher education institutions that wish to design, equip and manage immersive journalism labs.
The guidelines address five areas: immersive technologies and equipment, required competences, health, safety, ethics and compliance, hands-on teaching activities, and maintenance and sustainability. They are intended for university management, academic staff, curriculum developers, technical staff and media partners. They are designed to be used together with the iStream Curriculum and Syllabi.
